Meet The Team

Graham Rowan – Chairman

Graham is a speaker, author and TV presenter on all aspects of wealth creation and wealth protection. His own journey to financial freedom began when his ‘professional’ wealth managers lost him £160,000 in 18 months in the 2001 Nasdaq bust. He took personal control and got himself educated to the point where he could make his own investment decisions. For the last decade he has helped high net worth investors to build and protect wealth and is delighted to continue in this role with The Beaufort Society.

Graham is a petrolhead who enjoys his Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce and Alpine A110 toys whenever he can. He and his wife Daphne split their time between homes on the Thame in Surrey, the French Cote D’Azur and the Adriatic coast of Montenegro.

Simon Walker – Investment Director

Simon has over 20 years of experience in sourcing interesting investments and bringing them to the attention of discerning investors. He is especially proud of his work with the United Nations raising funds for a 20,000 home much needed township..

He has lived on several continents so brings a global perspective to his analysis of investment opportunities. Never happier than when he is talking to members, Simon combines deep knowledge with a light touch and a ready sense of humour.

Based on the Somerset coast near Bristol, Simon enjoys bracing walks with his Bichon Frise Geisha.

Paul Kingston – Property Director

Paul is a property guy through and through, with over 30 years experience in the sector. He has built and sold two thriving estate agencies in the Bristol area and served for9 years on the advisory board of the country’s largest independent national estate agents association, The Homesale Network.

Paul has strong professional connections to experts within strategic land acquisition and understands the means of maximising GDV from a site. He has some great case studies of projects to which he has added value as well as a huge circle of contacts who can help with any aspect of property development.

Away from the office Paul loves nothing better than a day shooting clay pigeons.

Daphne Rowan – Operations Director

Every organisation needs some ‘secret sauce’ and The Beaufort Society’s is Daphne Rowan. Any organisation with 1500 demanding members in more than 10 countries needs some systems and processes to keep the wheels turning.

Daphne focuses on making all the moving parts work smoothly together, from telephone systems to email, from websites to customer relationship management. That and keeping ‘the boys’ organised, a role she likens to herding cats…

Her main leisure time interest is what she calls ‘self preservation’, a mix of exercise, nutrition and relaxation that keeps her more active than many people half her age.
