What is it?

A fast growing fintech and high end security group with some unique products and intellectual property, chief among them the Volopa multi-currency card. This new raise will fund the addition of crypto currencies, gold and silver bullion to the 14 currencies already available on the card. This means you could buy anything from a cup of coffee to a house on your card and pay for it in Bitcoin or gold. The minimum investment is £25,000.

Who is the investment partner?

Quantum Group was founded by Ex SAS soldiers Floyd Woodrow MBE and Peter Malmstrom, originally with a focus on high end security. Through a series of astute acquisitions they have built the groups enterprise value from £250,000 to £109 million. Rivals like Monzo and Revolut are already unicorns and this level of value should be achieved by the Volopa business within the next three years.

What are the forecast returns?

This is a loan note where you can choose between a one year note paying 10% interest on a quarterly basis, a 2 year note paying 11% or a 3 year note paying 12%.

Any special features?

The loan notes are convertible to equity in Quantum group at the end of the loan period with a 20% discount to the then current enterprise value.
